We have a nice, large, reconditioned family house for sale, in a quiet, family friendly environment of Veresegyház, close to the town's thermal spa. Veresegyház is less than 30km away from Budapest (easily approachable directly by mass traffic, or by car).
The house has 3 + 3 rooms, 2 bathrooms, double balcony, a covered terrace, a basement, a garage, a storage building, and a nice, well-maintained garden. In the interior, the space is large by itself, but feels even more spacious, because of the clever space usage. The house is a two-story building, and also has a loft above the first floor. The inner height is 2.7 meters. The whole floor area of the site (including the garden) is 700 square meters.
The house was originally built in 1985, and was fully renovated in 2004, when it has also got an external 4 cm thick dryvit heat insulation layer. The loft also has an inner insulation layer, which helps a lot by cutting off a large chunk of the heating costs.
The main heating is a gas-circulation system, and there is also a secondary (currently unused) wood-heated boiler. (the gas boiler is less than 2 years old, and very efficient)
The building was well-maintained through the years, so it kept its inner aesthetics, and it’s still a pretty nice, children-oriented family house.
About the environment:
The house is in a quiet area of Veresegyház, a town less than 30 kilometers away from Budapest. Getting to Budapest is easy, because of the direct train route to the downtown.
Veresegyház is a rapidly developing, young town (with an average age of 37), with great (and also good-looking and modern) schools for the children.
There’s a farmer’s market near (less than 10 minutes by foot), which offers fresh, and local cooking supplies every Wednesday and Saturday.
In town, there is at least 20 different sporting facilities for adults, and children alike. The local elementary school has its own swimming pool, which is actively used by the children in PE classes.
